ShotSpotter uses small microphones on top of lamp posts all across the US and software linked to this network alerts Police forces as to the presence of a gunman, but is it correctly doing it’s job or jailing some innocent victims. We used particle systems to generate 3D waveforms and used tracking software to plot the route of one gunman in particular as he went on a rampage in Fresno, California.
