Cricket’s Match Fixers

Over 18 months of investigations, Medioto worked with Aljazeera’s Investigative Unit and helped reveal how criminal gangs bribe players and officials to fix matches and parts of matches – and make millions from betting on guaranteed outcomes. The initial inspiration for the designs came from Bollywood posters and obviously some of the title text echo the old fashioned scoreboards on the cricket ground. Denial: In Defence of Truth

To mark the release of the film “Denial”, Mishcon de Reya wanted to look at how the David Irving V. Deborah Lipstadt trial that took place in 2000 has relevance today. Working with Mishcon de Reya and Alex Krasodomski-Jones of Demos, Quite Frankly were commissioned to make a short film exploring truth, post-truth and denial in 2017.
