The Blitz: Britain on Fire for C5 retells the horror of the May Blitz of Liverpool in 1941, when the Luftwaffe returned to the skies of the city night after night to drop tons of explosives and incendiary bombs. The series looks at the stories of some of the city’s inhabitants over this period and our job was to provide some local geography connecting the Liverpool streets to these people.
