Britain’s Modern Slave Trade – An AlJazeera Investigation

In a new programme ‘Al Jazeera Investigates’ examine ‘modern slavery’ in the UK. To accompany the programme we also produced an online explainer which attempts to shed some light on the whole process of getting into Britain illegally and the grim prospects that await some migrants. The Dark Side – Secrets of the Sports Dopers – An AlJazeera Investigation

In a new investigation by the Al Jazeera Investigates team, Liam Collins, a retired Great British Athlete, spent six months undercover investigating the murky world of performance-enhancing drugs – what athletes refer to as “the dark side”. The motion graphics formed an integral part of the production enabling the team to feature sports action which was painted by hand and also ‘sporting trading cards’ were created to highlight the alleged athletes named in the film. We were commissioned by BP to provide motion graphics sequences to support some of the technical processes involved in oil & gas exploration around the world. We created technical reconstructions for two stories recreating processes of oil rigs and seismic monitoring vessels.

UK Maritme: Driving opportunities

The “UK Maritime: Driving Opportunities in a Global Market” film was made with Inspired Films and commissioned by The Knowledge Transfer Network and Innovate UK. The film accompanied the flagship launch of the sector’s technology roadmap for growth, as well promoting one of the UK’s most innovative industries. The graphics, including titles, captions cards, stats and straps are have hi-tech, advanced feel to accompany the fast-moving sector.

A documentary from Last Boat which puts the attacks across Europe into a context of growing intolerance by both Jihadists and Right Wing Extremists. We provided graphics allowing the programme makers to see a Europe wide map and to zoom into street level and see the attack unfold.

British Red Cross – I am human

This short viral advert for the British Red Cross tries to help combat views and prejudices against refugees during the ongoing global crisis. The quotes and wording was taken from social media, internet sites and even news sources. These were tracked into the oppressive space surrounding the individuals, concentrating on the people who suffer such bigotry. Here’s the link to the advert on Youtube.
