Conspiracy Theories – Who shot down MH17

A BBC production, where our graphics helps examine the evidence behind the various theories behind the downing of Malaysia Airlines Fight 17. From looking at doctored images, to proving the validity of real photographs, this project was quite a challenge and I’m guessing the documentary will be forensically poured over by the conspiracy theorists. We’ve just been nominated for a BAFTA award as part of the NRG Digital team for this production celebrating the history and grandeur that is Exeter Cathedral. Following up on the success of our Westminster Abbey film, the same team returns to switch our attention to Exeter. Script written and presented by Andrew Chater; produced and directed by Rob Edmonds at NRG and graphics and visual effects by Medioto, of course.

30 Greatest Disaster Movies

An ITN production for Channel 5. We created a CGI Cold War-like tunnel setting which the camera travelled down onward to the bunker’s large air-tight doors where the title was framed. Countdown clocks and various multi-faceted backgrounds were created to encompass all disasters from Shipwrecks, astroids to plane crashes and alien invasion. Available for a while on 5 on Demand.

BP: Our Story

We were commissioned by BP to provide motion graphics sequences to support some of the technical processes involved in oil & gas exploration around the world. We created technical reconstructions for two stories recreating processes of oil rigs and seismic monitoring vessels.

UK Maritme: Driving opportunities

The “UK Maritime: Driving Opportunities in a Global Market” film was made with Inspired Films and commissioned by The Knowledge Transfer Network and Innovate UK. The film accompanied the flagship launch of the sector’s technology roadmap for growth, as well promoting one of the UK’s most innovative industries. The graphics, including titles, captions cards, stats and straps are have hi-tech, advanced feel to accompany the fast-moving sector.
