Dispatches – Britain’s Knife Crisis

Subtitled, ‘Young, Armed & Dangerous’, this programme followed former MET Comissioner Bernard Hogan-Howe as he investigated the alarming rise in knife crime. Maya applied some interesting camera angles to project the real statistics in the sky above an urban landscape whilst ink splashes aggressively eat into the concrete buildings. Generation Hate

Al Jazeera’s investigative team managed to infiltrate a Neo Nazi organisation which hold some radical ideas including the re-migration of all muslims in Europe. The team finds more regular links to thuggish behaviour and more worryingly strong links to Marine Le Pen’s National Front party. Discovering a hidden book collection – Layton’s Library

We’ve produced a short taster film and rebuilt the thomaslayton.org.uk website to introduce people to the treasures collected by Thomas Layton, a Brentford Victorian collector of archeology, ethnography, books & prints. Layton left his collection for the enjoyment and education of the people of Brentford & Hounslow, and this film highlights parts of the book collection and members of the Trust inform us about the particulars which make the collection so special. Spy Merchants – An Al Jazeera Investigation

We helped the Washington based Al Jazeera Investigations team uncover the murky world of selling surveillance equipment, often to anyone willing to pay, regardless of the government, end user or final usage. Titles, subtitles, as well as all the visual effects and explainer graphic sequences are spread over 47 mins which as not an easy feat considering that there’s barely a minute free of overlays and VFX.
