We were asked to produce an animated title and bumpers for Channel 4’s series “The Secret Lives of Slim People.” Some people stay slim despite never dieting or exercising. This ITN production follows two slim people over five days, unpicking their every move and morsel to find out what determines their size. A department treating sick children within Great Ormand Street Hospital has been found mis-diagosing & over treating patients. This documentary from ‘Amazing Productions’ uses our animated explainers to demonstrate how Eosinophilic Gastrointestinal Disease (EGID) is diagnosed and the scale of the problem and number of patients treated by GOSH leading to the closure of this departments. The child-like drawn characters were animated by a traditional hand-drawn method which not only provides the context but also provides charm and warmth to lift the analytical nature of this investigation.
