Unreported World – Titles & Branding

Channel 4’s Hugo Ward commissioned us to rebrand the channel’s flagship documentary strand ‘Unreported World’. We thought we would create a series of silhouetted figures inhabiting a diverse landscape which would attempt to suggest that the programmes were concentrating on the normally faceless figures which the news often bypasses or certainly has less time for. Denial: In Defence of Truth

To mark the release of the film “Denial”, Mishcon de Reya wanted to look at how the David Irving V. Deborah Lipstadt trial that took place in 2000 has relevance today. Panorama – BHS: How did it happen?

The way in which millions of pounds were made out of BHS has been branded the ‘unacceptable face of capitalism’. 11,000 people lost their jobs as a black hole opened up in the pension fund. For this expose on the business antics of ‘Sir Philip’ we created a stylised High St. populated by Sir Philip and Lady Green and his business partners. The only character missing was the luxury Yacht but that may happen if we have to revisit the Greens again.
